When you choose our family dentistry, we know that you will immediately notice a difference in the level of care you receive. We strive to create and promote a warm and friendly atmosphere in our offices. We also seek to maximize client comfort and convenience through the use of the latest dental technologies. This includes the use of digital x-rays, intra-oral photography, and laser-assisted dentistry. We also offer a range of sedation options to help relieve patient anxiety about dental procedures.

At our dental office, we are focused on giving our patients and their teeth the care they need through an integrated approach that incorporates patient-education about dental home care, cleaning and preventative services, treatment, and restoration. We look at ourselves as our patients’ personal trainer, giving them what they need to achieve optimal oral health and a smile they can be proud of.

We prioritize making each of our patients feel welcome and appreciated and work to get to know them on a personal level. From the moment they walk through the door, they will receive a first-class experience.

The patient is always the central focus at our practice. During every visit, we strive to deliver an excellent patient experience and outstanding results. Should a patient have any personal needs or special requests, we always seek to accommodate them when possible.

Meet the Doctor

Dr. Michelle A. Gifford

Dr. Gifford’s interest in dentistry started at a very early age, allowing her to be accepted as a high school senior into a combined degree program starting at Le Moyne College and continuing at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, she completed a general practice residency at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. After several years of private practice experience, she purchased the practice of Dr. Arthur Elfenbein, and later moved the practice into her dream office, equipped with the latest technology.

Dr. Gifford is committed to learning the latest techniques for her patients through extensive participation in continuing education. She is a graduate of the renowned Kois Center for Dental Education, focusing on complex treatment planning and creating lifetime smiles for her patients. She also holds Mastership Certification within the World Clinical Laser Institute and offers pain-free laser dentistry for some procedures.

Dr. Gifford is a lifelong resident of Bainbridge and is honored to provide exceptional dental care to a patient base that includes many family, friends, and neighbors. Dr. Gifford, her husband Jeff, and their son Carter live in Bainbridge, NY.

Dr. Henry Duncan

Duncan has served Kannapolis since 1973. Through his many years of experience, he has specialized his approach to dentures, providing a seamless and comfortable experience for his patients. He is excited to welcome Dr. Matt to the practice, to continue his legacy of gentle and compassionate dental care.
